Ronaldo Wins Dubai Globe Soccer Awards

The Dubai Globe Soccer Awards for 2019 were just held, with Cristiano Ronaldo winning the title prize for the sixth time. He acquired the Best Men’s Player Award, with Lionel Messi and Virgil Dijk losing in 2nd to 3rd place. It marked the fourth time that he’s consecutively won this prize, with an overall status of six BMPAs. This is a significant benchmark considering that the award is less than a decade old. Ronaldo, who remains capable at 34, was a significant reason why Juventus acquired the Series A Championship Title. Marking his first season with the club, it showed his significant power that dominates over any national team.

Ronaldo was eagerly surprised when he found out he acquired the award for the 4th time. When receiving the BMPA, he noted that he’s thankful for his family and girlfriend. He also mentioned his children and numerous friends throughout professional football. Ronaldo then went to thank Juventus, his agent, and the various individuals at the award show. Cristiano continued his respects by noting his gratefulness towards the Arabic community, noting that Dubai is one of the marvellous cities worldwide. The comments concluded by Ronaldo mentioning his thanks to those who voted for him, noting that its an honour to receive this incredible award and hopes that one day he will win again.

It should be noted that Cristiano Ronaldo wasn’t the only significant player that received an award at this competition. Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid received the Best Revelation Player award, with the Player Career Award being handed to Miralem Pjanic. Technically this award is more significant, as it honours a lifetime of achievements. Ronaldo hasn’t received this award or anything similar historically.

Jurgen Klopp Wins

Another significant award given at the Dubai Globe Soccer Awards was the Best Manager of 2019, which was provided to Jurgen Klopp. When receiving this award, he mentioned that he shares this prize with everyone on his staff, that he is only as strong as those behind him. He also recognized the team and their increased performance throughout this year. It’s not surprising that Jurgen Klopp would win, his assistance as head coach has allowed Liverpool to become top of the Premier League. It’s thirteen points award from the second place holders of Leicester City.
